those grub screw ones arent that crash hot....ive had them nicked too. Look for a type that come with a plastic key like a claw that are required to undo what i can only describe as a child proof lock... i ordered them from the US a year ago but havent put them on as magically people stopped pinching mine!!! touchwood.

for number plates i use TORX security bolts. you can get the bits to do and undo them from most tool shops, but its highly unlikely that anyone going around nicking plates will be carrying one of the bits on them.

Where do you get these from? Wouldnt mind some for my rear plate. My front uses allen key bolts so fine there.

I just bought a pack of 10 stainless including the key for $17 at a bolt/fastener shop.

Took a few shops before I found them.

The ones I'm using are for a R34 stock mounting points and are M6 25mm long. They don't need to be that long but the longer they are the longer it takes to get em off.

Couldn't find them at the usual hardware's or even at some of the bolt shops.

Brand is Endevour security fasteners.
