haha... i was referring to the shit that the punks did to your car. I can really feel your pain when i saw the pictures... muthafarkers .... browse your pbase.com before, i tot tat you had a garage for your car? wat is it doing outside in the first place?

btw, saw your intro in the previous thread. Aren't you supposed to finish your NS first before coming over?

I know that becos i am a fellow kiasu S'porean as well :-) Currently doing my masters here in UQ.

brianlee i wouldnt put it past some people to damage your car after you beat em in a race.

just before my licence was handed in, i had some smartass in a silvia tailgating me on a single lane road, the road spread into 2 lanes for a good 200m then back into one, he tried boosting past me and i let him come along side and then blew his doors off, needless to say he followed me round for ages, so i just drove up into the mountains and lost him.

seems some people cant take a beating

genesisr32 - I was meant to, however i wanna finish uni before NS therefore with a degree therefore there's a higher chance for me to put trained as a commando or a pilot. not just a truckie. :)

I have a garage for my car, but clutch TOTALLY went and couldnt get it up driveway, its a steep one too. U're the 3rd Singaporean I've seen here, Tops to that!!!! Singapore ROcks, I'm goin back end of year and see what kinda cheap sound/performance parts i can get my hands on.

Belgarion - lets say hypothetically the guy in the wrx whom i beat in one race did vandalise my car, how should i approach it and ask him. WIth a car like a wrx, he should understand how much love we have for our vehicles

dunno, do you know his gf? just keep an eye on how they act when they see your car.

if he did it chances are he woulda told her, and she would look at you rather scornfully if she knew that you had payed good money to repair damage that her bf had done......

either that or talk to her and see her reaction to it or something, most i can suggest is to watch how people act when they see your car, sooner or later someones gonna let it slip,

way to go!!.. with a degree, you will most likely proceed to higher ranking uniform. I got to know a couple of pilots who got posted here (2 years) and they each got themselves STIs, FCs, Supras, etc...

if you are going back to Singapore, you might wanna go to Miki's. (www.mikimarketing.com) He got lots of stuffs at a reasonable price. Mostly cosmetic though. I got my millennium MOMO from him at a very good price. For parts, you can ask RB26DETT. He's a member in this forum and a proud owner of a 33GTR. He is now back in Sg and getting ALOT of stuffs for his car (conrods, oil cooler, etc)

hypothetically speaking, anyone whom you blow away in a street race is potentially a culprit. Sunnybank area is well-known for having alot of performance car owners... and alot of punks as well... some of them might bear grudges against you. Just thk carefully in the past weeks whether you accidentally offended anyone besides the WRX fellow... but then again, i thk the chances of you finding the person behind your ordeal is very slim... just be careful with where you park your gal next time.

cheers buddy

hey genesisr32 - have u done ur NS? 3rd SIngaporean on SAU. that ROCKS! I couldnt imagine owning a skyline in singapore. the cost would be sooooo much. So yeah I'm happy here, might go back for NS maybe be a commando :)

bryanlee - done with my NS liaoz. Finished my poly before coming over. Completed my IT degree and now getting my Masters.

and yes, its farking expensive to own a skyline in SIngapore. There are about 2 - 3 registered r32 and slightly less than 12 registered R33 on Singapore roads but the number of R34 is increasing. Mostly non-turbo GTS. A friend of mine told me that alot of the R34 owners put the GTR logo at the back.. wah lau eh.. lamers... i thk if i go back to Singapore, i can only afford a motorcycle with the current value of my R32 :-

btw, how's your car coming along? you managed to remove all the shit yet?

I've had my stereo flogged in front of my house. Cops didn't do a thing. Had fingerprints on a lighter. s.o.b's.

My oldmans house got broken into, stole a shitload of stuff including some of my tools. The neighbor saw it, got the car make and rego and gave it to me. Went to the cops and they didn't do a thing.

Used to carry a wooden baseball bat. It split. Now i carry a metal one. I'm waiting for someone to piss me off or do something to my car.

motorx - u r half singaporean? doin NS???

genesisr32 - yeah man. skylines r rare as in SG. I wanted to imort them into SG but realise the laws prohibit cars older then 3 years (from 1st day of registration) are not allowed to be imported into SG. I'll be happy when i can be.

I've gotten most of the shit off my car, all god sanded down with '1200' sand paper. So yeah, just getting the panels repainted.should be good as new. I've decided not to go chasing the ***heads who did it. Just gonna play more safe with my car. I would still luv to smash them though, which i think might not happen. I've got suspicions, but that's about it

33booby - where suburb did this occur by the way? (if u dont midn me askin that is)

bryanlee - i calculated before... the road tax + shipping + COE ...its not worth it even the government allows it. Might as well buy a brand new skyline in singapore.

keep you car in the garage whenever you are home. park in a brightly lit area when you are outside. if you are camping at a friend's place, take a bus... safer...

    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
    • Wasn't there a thread on this very subject just a few weeks ago?
    • Hi all! Looking to relocate the battery to the trunk of an R34 GTT. I want to do it using as many stock GTR components as I can (including the harness protectors from the 34 GTR that run underneath along the chassis to the engine bay). So far I’ve purchased the battery tray from a 33 GTR, as the captive weld nuts are already there just asking to be used. There is also the slight issue of now having to relocate the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU, which in GTT’s sits right above where the battery will then sit on the tray. Has anyone already achieved this, and if you have any pics that you wouldn’t mind sharing? It would be great to see how others have done it and where you put them, as there are countless holes in the parcel shelf panel to potentially use. Just trying to get some ideas bounced around, and to help uncover any potential problems I may encounter by  my choice of location. TIA for any help!
    • Brand was ard.   I also threw a brand new battery at it and beefed up the wire from the alternator to battery and added an extra earthing point from the battery
