industrial truck cleaning cleaner called "RIP OFF" if you leave it on to long it will turn them yellow. Also use it on the paint work (quickly) all the bee stains, bird shits ect come off just with water. Again have to be quick otherwise i would have a pale yellow 33 :)

the only perk of work is the cleaning equipment

don't use rip off on paints that don't have clear over them though (white, red) as it strips the polish.

but yeah rip off works killer on brake dust.. just don't leave it on the wheels as yeh it corrodes them. and high pressure hose at the carwash for example to rinse em.

soapy water is what i use, have to be careful on what cleaning products you use with chrome wheels ect.

so i use soapy water...

i guy i knew bought a set of chrome wheels for his commy and the day he put them on he went to a car wash and used the high pressure washer and it took the protective layer over the chrome off which left yellow looking marks over the wheel. they were the BSA brand wheels, but this was a few years ago, wheels have come along way in quality.

if its just light dust from like 2 or 3 weeks of driving i usually use the TYRE CLEANER from happywash, you have to wait about 30 seconds before the real shit eventually comes out the nozzel but THAT combined with time washing the rest of the car and HIGH pressure rinse, they come up a treat... but most happywashes, dazzlers n shit never top the shit up so forget everything i just said LOL

For the older dust thats been on there for a while you should use some of that elbow grease, always works a treat.

Couldnt recommend anything better, i just fill up a bucket of warm soapy water and wash away, bit of a nuisance washing the inside (anyone with impuls will agree) but completely white rims look nice. I used "Hot Rims" and it made my discs change to a dirty colour and started squealing after just getting them machined..

thanks lads!

cos i have gheto spec rims that i painted with a couple cans of black spray paint, to minimise the paint chips n extra work respraying, im gonna try the hot soapy water and a kenco brush... elbow grease is probably the best option :)
