My Car Is Cutting Out

hey my skyline keeps cutting out wen it hit bout 3g revs does anyone know what the problem could be, could it be the spark plugs or the leads??? thanks

it's probably your AFM, spark related problems normally show up higher in the rev range from my experience

it sounds like an afm issue. check to make sure your afm plug is in properly. if it is borrow some1's afm and swap it out to check if its your issue.

this will be the most likely cause. if its deemed the issue, search the tutorial forum for "afm repair" and follow the rb26 repair tutorial to fix dry cracked solder. '

keep us updated to things you try to fix the issue and if it gets fixed

check to see if its actually even plugged in!

Sounds like the ecu is in limp mode.

or one of your vaccum lines is disconnected and the computer goes into safe mode coz of overboosting maybe.....just suggesting

yeahh got my car fixed the guy who owned my car before me put the wrong spark plugs in. thanks everyone for your help cheers

keep it simple man, do a progressive check.

check boost and vacuum likes, check circuit/wires. check the coils, check the spark plugs.

then go on to check the actuator, AMF etc.
