as for the exhaust being too low?

you know that between the two axles youre allowed to be lower then 10mm

its in the ADR rules ... cant remember exactly but states something about having to be higher then 100mm forward of the front axle and behind the rear axle, but inbetween you multiply the distance of something by 33.33 ... cant remember exactly... but yeah, allowed to be lower then 100mm inbetween the two axles

VSI 8 covers ride height - http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyre...8340/0/VSI8.pdf

A car can be lower than 100mm, provided the height point is calculated in the VSI.

However, generally people have the issue with the cat, or rear muffler, which is within 1m of the axle generally, hence 100mm applies

thanks spunky munky, will keep that in mind if needed. yeah your right, i have always been putting it off fixing those things so now i have to do it which isnt too bad. i found out today that i might be getting advan v103's all round for a bargain price because the good guys at the tyre place busted the sales reps balls as to why there is no supply of the other tyres i chose in australia at all and the odd mismatch of yoko's available that i finally chose was a concern to them in regards to handling. top blokes hey!

thats a pretty nifty fact ruffels, unfortunately my second pipe is right under the diff..ha. 1 metre doesnt give much to play with =)
