$300 right? LOL, I got a perfect (thats right PERFECT) block wrapped up in plastic in the shed....but mate you aint getting any where near it for that price....price up a new one, then get realistic with your price.

Good luck in getting an RB26 block for under $600 in any condition, they are generally between $750-1000.

Then again I have a '94 RB26 block that has both bottom bellhousing threads snapped off that I will probably have to throw out.

NAH thats BS mate. I just got a 33 virgin for 500 2 weeks ago. You people think theyre worth oh so much but theyre not. Truth is its just a block. But they are becoming hard to come by...

Still got my block Manoj, i will take almost anything for it.

I've been casually looking for an rb26 block for over a year and even on ebay they all seem to fetch over $700 with machining required or for a prep'd ready to use block they are $1500.

You can do far better if you shop around! And MYRB30, as for your pointless bit of advice in your previous post. Thank you. There's always a idiot on this forum.

In the past I have bought approx 4 blocks in perfect condition for $500 or under. I know that there is a shortage these days but I'm willing to wait and shop around.

Reason I want a really cheap block is I'm trailing the OS RB30 method and I'm trying to keep costs down for the first test version. My next few engines will be built with n1 blocks and top quality parts. I don't mind waiting for awhile till I stumble on something around that price range.

Mat, I'll contact you sometime this week. We need to catch up regardless. Much to discuss!

Shop around where? I look 6 days a week on ebay, sau, import shops and friends and they still aren't cheap.

I'll probably be picking up an RB30 block next week and going the 26/30 route.

You cant find a block for your pathectic offering....I got one stored in plastic....I think we know who the idiot is.

Yes and its evident that you are! Hanging around a post that you have no valuable input in. Who cares if you have a block? It's beyond me why you have come on and posted in my thread. To voice your useless opinion perhaps?
