Fitting The Front Number Plate

Hi,

I want to put my front plate on the lower left of the bumper -

what's the best way to do this and how do you do this?

Stock bar or aftermarket one in the pic Sandra?

drill it straight in? or make up some brackets ( L shaped 1s ) and mount the plate to that, and it should look like mine + you want get visable holes in your front bar

For my offset plate - I bought a Cusco bracket from www.japanparts.com

Used existing bolt holes and was legal placement.

I used a 90deg bit of steel and just drilled a hole in it..

mines center mounted but still same concept..

yeah i got the cusco one on my GTR32 like Golgo... it's sweet and legal too - our friend out Knox even gave it the ok

mine was originally screwed into the lower lip but since i have got a new fron lip and dont want holes in it, its now cable tied. i have the cusco offset thing too but havent gotten round to putting it on yet. i got mine from nengun

Does the side you mount the plates on matter? As long as the plates can be seen at a 45 degree angle isn't it?

The question all comes down to if you have a front mounted intercooler or not... if you do, do as you say and wack it on the side - otherwise, keep it standard...
