2007 Salvo/ns.com Xmas Cruise, Sunday Dec 2nd Meeting At 1.30pm

Recommended Posts

Hi,

There is a Salvation Army Cruise on the 2nd of December, I know that it is a ns.com cruise, but I am sure you can get over it for a good cause.

Where: ETSA PARK CAR PARK - Railway Terrace Mile End

When: Sunday 2nd December

Time: 1.30pm for a 2pm start

Please bring: A Soft or Educational Toy (plus a gold coin for the route map)

For more info : http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=263547

Just to clarify... Toy you bring is to give to the salvos so don't bring your favourite teddy that you don't want to let go

And as Ryan said, come on this is for a good cause.

If you need a permit let the organisers know (in the link supplied) and they will organise a notice for you.

Sorry guys I did not know you had started a thread. Yes it is a NS.com cruise but ALL are welcome !!! plus it is for a great cause.....so we hope you can join us.

The kids of Elizabeth & surrounding districts who would get stuff all for christmas, are able to list with the Salvos for a present...their situation is confirmed, then their carer/parents can attend the Salvos and pick 1 educational toy, 1 soft toy & get a food voucher. All the presents & $$$ are donated...here is a pic of our toy donations (last yr), in the foreground.

So please come bring a soft or educational toy (can be small/cheap...doesn't have to be big $$$) & a gold coin for the map or if $$ are tight...just the gold coin....SERIOUSLY it all helps.

Hope to see you there..... Quote: Any idea where and when the cruise will finish? ...definately at a watering/eating hole back in the metro area....

OLD Jules & Mark

PS ...the Playford Salvos will be attending the ETSA carpark, to collect the donations in person.

    • God I love shiny engine parts 🥰 Are you looking for more horsetorques in the mid range? (Smaller cam) Or just more horsetorques every where? (Big heads and bigger revs) Assumption: they were not bought late night shopping on the interwebs after drinking too many beers, which is typically how I pull pins on things......🤣 The evolution of your car is coming along nicely, I sometimes wish I didn't get bored with my cars and keep flipping them, maybe the MX5 will be different
    • I got the hazards working! Turned out it was disconnected! Indicator stock still isn’t working. I took the steering shroud off and there seems to be a third connection missing I see two small white connectors but they don’t fit the indicator switch unless they need a short lead to convert the connector type. Can someone point me in the direction of the wiring diagram for the indicator switch?   https://share.icloud.com/photos/0e8ReiFSLBVJsTPUKKfA_1IdQ
    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.
