Dom,

we all know there are TWO sides to this story.

A GTR for 12k lol You a silly for buying it!

You shouold start telling the truth.

Were you kept in formed the whole way? Thought so.

How long does it take to pull GTR TTs off?

You should really settle the matter before crying on a public forum

Dom,

we all know there are TWO sides to this story.

So why is the other party so chicken to tell his side, or even to tell me what he did for the money

A GTR for 12k lol You a silly for buying it!

Its obvious you didnt read the original post, the car was then built by Alto Ford as a sponsorship dela and had nothing wrong with it, when finished, all suspension, turbos were replaced to my liking, It only needed a tune

You shouold start telling the truth.

That is my biggest fault in life I only EVER tell the truth, even when I should keep my mouth shut

Were you kept in formed the whole way?

Who said that they wanted the TTs off, why would I want a new set of turbos off, If they were removed, why were they removed, They had only been fitted in the previous month, why wasnt I shown the turbos removed.

You should really settle the matter before crying on a public forum

I made an offer to settle and did not even get the courtesy of a reply, What would you do in this situation, let others be poisened with this stench.

It is also very interesting that you seem to know so much about this matter and yet understand so little.

2GU UP!

As do many others at other shops.

Shit Anthony yours didn't even get a look in when you built it.

Interesting that in 4 years before today, you had made 4 posts.

Its pretty obvious what your trying to do.

whats that supposed to mean?

mine died due to faulty parts, not something i did wrong, everything i did was 110% perfect

now its back together and getting tuned on monday

Not really.

I love skylines and I'm always on here.

Just never really post as I'm more an S15 and rex man.

Although I would love an R34 GTR.

They are just too pricey to mod!

That's great captain clueless.

Now make like a tree and fck off.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....!!!!

Familiar noise to many methinx..!

Tuners and broken bits. I think we nearly all have a yarn on this subject. Like they say, performance tuning is a dodgy business.

One thing to remember tho... does the boss know all the happenings.

I think the best way is to give them a "fair go" at sorting it out with a friendly approach, and no ranting.

Just "imo", from an outside view, unbiased, but learned..!

$0.02 worth..

its pretty funny that if Uwish always watches these forums but the first time he decides to post is in this subject, little bit of a coincidence in my opinion, and for all you guys that reckon this guy isnt giving him a fair go you've obviously got little experiance with dodgy tuners. it can be extremely hard for the customer not to get ripped hard if the tuner is that way inclined, and its a very tough experiance

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
