Sand Blasting Of Springs (approx Price)

Hi,

I've been quoted approx $25/spring for sand blasting, just want to know if that sounds like a reasonable price?

Currently the Ohlins coilovers that were in the GTR were removed because they were "rusted out" during compliance.

The rust is minor on the springs and the shocks appear to be fine. The rust could easily be removed by sand blasting from what I can see.

Does anyone know the approx price? I've just emailed a few random companies out of the yellow pages for quotes, is $25 per spring about right?

Thanks R31Nismoid, will see if I can do any better, otherwise that should be the go. Then I can sell off the R34 GTR springs when I get the old springs back in

Springs are a fiddly one to get the whole thing/all spots. $25 is about as cheap as it gets i reckon for someone else to do it.

Haha, but I found out a few days ago that there is someone who might be able to get it done with there other sandblasting work and therefore it will probably be very cheap.

I'm still planning to get some blasting done to it before it gets repainted!
