Rb20 With 25 Turbo

hey guys 2day ive put my 25 turbo on my rb20 now my prob is when i boost it i go's up 2 9psi then drops right away to 5psi n holds wat could it be??

btw i put the rb20 wastegate on and mods r fmic,pod 3" cat back

a leak maybe? check cooler pipes and clamps

Have you got the factory rubber intake pipe?

Try taking your pod off and take it for a run, it could be sucking itself closed.

If you changed your wastegate actuator, make sure waste gate is completely closed.

with those mods i dont think it would be enough to suck the intake pipe closed :S

I have found with my girlfriends 32 that the wastegate actuator rod had developed some movement, and flogged out the holes at each end. This may cause your boost holding issues? Her symptoms were a lil different to yours.

I slightly bent the rod to take up the slack and problem solved....now she almost keeps up with me!
