Oil In The Cooler Pipes

ive got oil in my cooler pipes.

just wondering wat causes it.

how do you fix it

and is it a major problem

How much?

Is it a thin layer or is it pooling in all the piping?

Thin layer is blowby and its normal...

If its pooling then its more likely a blown seal on the turbo...

Normally excess blowby goes into the crankcase, to stop this from becoming pressurised (bad) the crankcase is ventilated back into the air intake(just before the turbo). Because this air is somewhat oily you get small buildup throughout the intake.

The best solution for this is to run an oil catch/breather setup.

In my opinion every performance car should have an oil catch can. Cheap mod and very helpful. The amount of oil and crap you get in your cooler pipes, plenem, throttle body etc is a joke.
