hi all

i was at work today bending up a exaust for a customer when i had a ball tearer of a idea let me run this by ya

as a few of you guys in sa have been getting defected lately including my son in his r33 i thought about bending up a quite exaust to get ya cars thru regancy . was thinking of a cat cack with a couple of big arse mufflers to really make them quite .

my question is would anybody want to rent the system to put there cars thru regancy ? what would be a fair price we could fit it and refit yours after your defect has been cleared or you could take it away and fit it yaself . what would be a fair deposit to left refunded when the exaust was returned . i might extend this to stock springs and shocks as well as standed airbox and intercooler . do you think this idea would work . im not out to make a killing but i would have to pay for the pipes and mufflers myself but i have full workshop use hoist benders mig welders ect ect to use at will .

i think thats a good idea.

you could make 1 or 2 exhausts and pass them around the sau community as people need them? or something. i dunno.

mm it is a good idea, ull find exhaust technology already do a similar system, they use stock exhaust systems off cars they have done in the past, they charge around $100 i think, meaning u drive in there, take off ur exhaust (which is kind of a deposit i guess as usually its worth more than a stock exhaust system) put the stocky on, go through regency, take the stocky off, put ur original exhaust back on, drive out.

now need to double check on that price, but if u could do it a fair bit cheaper than that then im sure u could get some interest.

ah cool for that i wasent sure if anyone else was doing it and i dont want to go upsetting anybody .not sure where they are located but our workshop is near parafield airport so we could cater for the northen side i guess . anyway like i said it was only a idea that come to me while making a exaust for sombody else

exhaust technology is south of the city near unley, im sure having something up north would be handy for those that live up there.

A great idea.

I think a stock exhaust is the cheapest and best idea.

I kept my stock exhaust and springs for just such an occasion.

ull pick a stock exhaust up for not much these days, i picked mine up for free luckily enough, just for when i get defected.

yeah is a good idea to my knowledge of exhaust the noise is mainly in the diameter restrict that and you restrict a lot of noise
