Spunky Munky
Hey guys just recently got a non-turbo r33 and last night cracked the lower part of my front bar pretty much in half goin up a little enbankment (scrubbed out)i live on the gold coast and i was just wantin some advice on how and where to get it fixed and prices on a stock front bar with paint. any help is appreciated Hi mate, firstly sorry to hear you accidentally damaged your frontbar... never mind mate, it can be fixed... perhaps post up some pictures so we can see the degree of damage and advice on how much it'll cost to get fixed and what will be involved... If it's cracked in half like you had briefly, the bar will have to be patched up, primed, prepped and repainted from scretch... if it is this severe, you should get a new front bar and get it painted... probably work out similiar... Post up pictures mate.... Regards, Kevin Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/195973-r33-front-bar-damage/#findComment-3509245 Share on other sites
mr. kirisaki
If you get a NEW stock front bar it'll just cost you a bazillion dollars. I suggest either you buy an aftermarket one, or find someone who's selling their stock front bar (in your car colour). homedog56
Cant post any pics up atm cos its currently at a workshop gettin a few problems ironed out and hopefully the bar can get fixed under warranty as one of the clips holding it was actually broken wen they sold it to me. If it comes down to it and i have to get a new front bar (payed for by me) i will be looking for one that doesnt sit so low to the ground any estimations on prices (cheapest possible) Thx Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/195973-r33-front-bar-damage/#findComment-3513861 Share on other sites
mr. kirisaki
There's a guy on ebay that is apparently good, I think a couple of people have bought good fitting kits off him, called mybodykits. I recall they have R33 GTR bars for about 250+postage.
