Do you think the GTR will enjoy the benifit of sponsor racing? That is sponsors who want to stand out from the crowd will throw the money behind something that has enormous hype and is not the same car as the rest of the field? Even if it is not the proven performer that the GT3 is.

Given the following the GTR has amongst it's fans across the world, i can see some big money boys going out and getting themsleves a V-Spec to play with. Especially now that it will be available to the US market.

I think this is right. I know someone who owns a standard one already. It should be here mid Jan I think he said. It will go straight in for a respray which will be instantly recognisable for who has sponsored it.

I don't think they will be too worried about not being able to sell 30 a month, particularly if the base model already has a 2 year waiting list This isn't a lot of money for a lot of people.....
