Anyone get K.O'd by the huge dumping of rain an hour ago?

Our drainage got blocked and flooded whole garage. Was seeping under the concrete of the floor.

My room is next to the garage so my wooden floor probably going to be stuffed hehe.

We have insurance but still a hassle oh well.

it's all cleaned up now, although looks like another cloud is making its way over our house haha

I guess ill find out when I get home tonight if our drains were clear or not.

I got a down incline driveway. It sucks. I just spent the last 15 minutes removing all my stock parts from the garage floor as it was starting to flood. Mine is so steep i can't park my car in there without scraping the front bar. I even have one of them big ass grated drains too

we just had our mad rush.

the plasma is now water-cooled thanks to some great leaks in the roof and the back yard is an underwater wonderland.

dam.... we have a downward inclined driveway too but we have a grate and piping which stops that from happening... luckily... not that i would be too worried about my VL getting a swim... in fact i would prefer it did... its insured for more then its worth and it currently isnt running

Its coming down too hard, cant win it.

Just have to wait it out :S

Our grate + pipe is blocked, too much water flowing down, not enough entering.

Oh well, back to the ps3 haha

Pat my bedroom is a bloody garage. i got all of my crap from 1 side to the other. emptied out a good 50L of water with a huge 10L bin....

mouldy carpet smell is awesome......

anybody complain about their garage getting flooded ill personally bitchslaps ya!

On a serious note, if people need assistance with flood or water damage, examples are flooded garages water in houses leaking rooves etc call the State Emergency Service (SES). 132 500. You will be directed to call 132 500 if you call 000.

I was at work all day, anything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. We had 6 major leaks, and a tram got hit by lightning right outside! on top of that, as whithorse road was flooded there was water simply flowing in the front door... it all make for an exciting day, as none of the stuff getting damaged was mine

i got a haircut today.. the hairdressers was flooded out the back. i sorted that out for them (being in the SES and all) and they didnt charge me for my haircut! YAY
