cowboyb
Auto Salon is this week isnt it? And admission is still $15? I wonder what events they'll have there, if theres no DYNO runs. Pretty boring without that..... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19615-no-dyno-at-autosalon/#findComment-415352 Share on other sites

Clint32
The people running the dyno were a joke, one guy could not even drive the JMS 33 onto the dyno. Took them ages to set up the cars and then had problems, better than nothing i suppose. Anyone know what numbers the cars made, it seemed to reed very different to the normal Dyno Dynamics, the 33 made 257 and they were going again but i gave up waiting. JMS
Yes we also thought they took too long to get the Cars on the Dyno. I think it was just the Dyno, not as easy to set up as others. They People doing it were top Guys very friendly. We had a lot of trouble running the Skyline because the RX-7 before had Silicon on his Tyres which covered the Dyno Rollers. Our first run was 174rwkw's?? Couldnt stop the wheel spin until we pilled a whole heap of Guys in the back and left the tie downs loose to the Car would ride up ontop of the roller. Finnal power was 448kw but the computer corrects it to 434kw's with still some wheelspin up top.
