How Hard Is To Do......(diff Experts Please)

Rebuild a 2xBorg warner type diffs,either upgrading to cone type L.S.D or Mini spool.

It is not for my skyline but for my ford but i understand there the same thing.

mini spools are 120$

and a new L.s.d is 650$ supplied so im still deciding witch one and how hard it could be to change pinions and crowns gears and install this

one diff is 25 spline and the other is 28.

would the new cone lsd last long?ive heard the cones stop working sometimes

Borg warner LSD's are junk, i'd either go a Kaaz 2 way LSD or a mini spool diff, spending 650 on a new BW LSD is throwing money down the drain as they WILL give up the ghost sooner or later.

as for the install, its pretty easy to do, all you need is a socket set, a pin punch set, hammer and a vice.

yeah you can get kaaz centre for borgwarner diffs now but you have to modify the pinion gear to get it to fit, get 28 spline they're stronger and it gives you the chance to upgrade to disc brakes. the cone type lsds are ok but dont last long if you do burnouts, 25 spline are weak as shit and you'll just twist the axle or snap it quicker than you can install the thing into your car
