Replacement Key

Hey all, battery in my remote is getting pretty flat, has anyone had to replace a key yet? how did you do it? how much did it hurt? my unlock button is getting a bit worn and the key has swum once, and it is my only one... thanks in advance.

call nissan or go into a dealer. But i think you have to reprogram a new frequency into the new key thats going to hurt.

mate, i just went to a key maker, and all it cost me was like 10 bucks for the key, they said if only open doors, but it starts my engine too

yeah there is no imobiliser in the key even though it looks like it. same as a nissan patrol and heaps of other nissans.

dont know about the remote though i put an alarm in when it got here - and to be honest i assumed everyone would

i got quoted by nissan $330 for a key.... wonder which one they wanted to sell me...

Might just go get one that will open the doors
