G'day Franks,

I just blew one of them up. Bit hesitant about buying the same type. I think the series 1 is a little stronger than both the series 2 and R34.

I will think about it though and let you know.

no probs ben,

it all depends on how much boost you want to run. the er34 turbo is known to not be able to handle excessive boost, but the advantage it does have is its minimal lag.
