If anyone on this forum still can't understand why our licencing laws are getting stricter or fines, defects and as some would call it

harrassment are getting worse.

Heres your shining example why.....not only by his actions but attitude, the only sad thing in this story of idiocrascy is he's not alone.

get off the bandwagon Mr Saint-wannabe

I'm sure u've gone over the speed limit yourself, whether its 160k or 260k, you're still speeding, you're just lucky you havent been caught

He has been punished for his action

Wow can't spell, zero grammar, "l33t" speak, risking innocent peoples life, and bragging about being a tool on the roads.

And everyone wonders why Skyline drivers get picked on so much.

May want to take the seat off the bike you will be riding for the next 6 months, could help you get used to what it will feel like when (not if) you do it again. Bubba style.

Model citizen hey! :ermm::ermm::ermm:

I can see you've learnt a valuable lesson and show great promise for your future.

lol....that was sarcasm.......Lollies?

The only bigger goose in this stupid story is the judge...260kph on a public road, you should be in prison, no car, no licence permanant!

IQ and maturity tests should be mandatory for licencing, then again there are some very responsibly simpletons ....but ofcourse I forget GTR ownership should over ride all teh laws ob teh land, unt sea, unt air.

I sincerely hope you also get done for not wearing a helmet on your bicycle in the near future.

Disgraceful!

Well put. No wonder all skyliners get the unwanted attention from the media and the law.. :) 260kph in a 110 Zone DAMN. You're very damn lucky you get away with a lenient sentence, I've heard people doing over just 50kph and get the same sentence as you, like WTF

Haha, owning a R33 GTR when your 18 is called "successful"? Now where would that put me when i was 18 and had investment properties... :)

Edited by thanglongz

i wouldnt call owning a GTR, an s13.5 and a r33 doing well in life....id say its nice but they are only cars dude.

Doing a degree, Finishing an apprentiship, owning a house, raising a family, owning a business, travelling the world...now thats doing well in life...

your only 18 champ, your still yet to realise whats the real deal in life....cars aren't everything.

I don't want to jump on the bandwagon (too much), but doing 260km/h on any public road is disgraceful. Even worse, you seem to have no remorse and plan on doing it again .... that is plain stupid.

The only shining light is when they catch you doing it again you will go straight to jail, no passing go. Hopefully then they will take you license away for 2 years.

Lucky your antics didn't make the news to make cops harder against us and push public opinion of Skyline drivers further into the gutter.

How they did not do you under hoon laws and confiscate your care for 48 hours is beyond me.

So you say 5kph over or 160kph over the limit in principle there is no difference?

You fellas must come from the same gene pool.....cousins?

Andz you're as big a goose as the other goose. Do the laws of physics ring a bell? Ummmm.... maybe his stopping distance was increased but only slightly hey?...Ummmm.... But nobody was around it was a safe place to do it....how'd he get caught?

If he'd hit a cat at that speed he'd be dead.

Friggin pathetic, the moron was very lucky this time around.

Dear goose aka statistic,

Go cry to mumma, I'm sure she can empathise with your stupidity.

Also have fun walking I sincerely hope the fresh air is benificial to your growth as a human being.

As a suggestion you might want to ask a Father/uncle or adult male in your life to bury his foot up your backside, they'd be doing you a genuine favour.

Wiggety wiggety..brag bullshit...wiggetty what?

No tears just pure amusement at your stupidity on just about every conceivable level.

Did you really expect cheers and suggestions? you compound the facts with each new post.

Wigger-tty...I've got blah blah, better blah blah...wiggetty wiggetty wop

    • I know this one’s the BB one. My tuner did make mention about the actuator. I am curious about the VCT as well
    • Might also needs a stronger actuator with the right preloading. With older 2019 built bush G3 units, BB upgrade or 21U housing down size makes a pretty decent gain in response as well.
    • Hey lads  so im finally putting together my rb30 forged bottom end and ran into an issue. I measured my main bearing clearance with arp main studs torqued to 60 ft-lbs using ACL H series STD size bearings and standard, un-ground crank shaft journals and got an oil clearance reading of about 1.3 thou measuring straight up and down and about 2.8 thou measuring at a 45 degree angle (just above and below the parting line). My machine shop said they measured the main tunnel and it was all within spec (they didnt say the actual measurement) and to go with a standard size bearing, which i have done and the clearance is too tight, I'm guessing because of the extra clamping force from the arp studs distorting the main tunnel. I was wanting to run about 2.5 thou main bearing clearance.  My questions are: 1. could i just use the HX extra 1 thou clearance ACL bearings? that would fix my straight up and down clearance making it about 2.3 thou, but then would the side to side clearance be too big at around 3.8 thou? 2. what actually is the recommended main bearing clearance for measuring near the parting line / side to side. i know its supposed to be bigger as the bearing has some eccentricity built into it but how much more clearance should there be compared to the straight up and down measurement? at the moment there is about 1.5thou difference, is that acceptable or should it be less? 3. If i took the engine block + girdle back to the machine shop and got them to line bore the main tunnel (like i told them to do the first time, but they said it didnt need it) what bearing size would i buy? the STD size bearing shells already slide in fairly easily with no real resistance, some even falling out if i tip the girdle up-side-down. If im taking material out of the main tunnel would i need a bearing with extra material on the back side to make up for it? this is probably confusing af to read so if something doesn't make sense let me know and ill try explaining in a different way. My machine shop doesn't come back from christmas break until mid January, hence why i'm asking these questions here. TIA for any help or info
    • I bought the model back in Japan in Feb. I realised I could never build it, looked around for people who could build it, turns out there's some very skilled people out there that will make copies of 1:1 cars or near enough. I'm not really a photo guy... but people were dragging me in a group chat for the choice of bumper as someone else saw the car before it was finished as they are also a customer of that shop. I took the photo in the above post because I was pretty confident that the lip would work wonders for it. Here's some more in-progress and almost-done pics. It gives a good enough idea as to what the rear looks like!   I have also booked in a track day at the end of January. Lets all hope that is nothing but pure fun and games. If it's not pure fun and games, well, I've already got half an engine spare in the cupboard
    • Well, do ya, punk? Seriously though, let's fu<king go! The colour and kit looks amazing on the car. Do you have any shots from the rear? I don't quite follow how the model came around. You bought the white kit and he modified it to match your car? Looks nuts either way!
