2000 R34 Factory Immobilizer?

Hi Guys'

We have just bought a 2000 4 door R34 GT-T and the insurance is dependant on an Aust standard immobilizer (I am told Aus Standard requires 2 points of immobilization).

So does this car come with a factory fitted immobilizer and if so does it operate on the 2 circuits or do I need to fit an aftermarket immobilizer?

No it does not meet the requirements to be Australian Standards, in fact I do not know of any imports that meet these standards,in NSW at least, even the 03' 04' V35's need an aftermarket Australian Standards immobiliser just to get compliance.

I'm surprised they didnt do it at compliance. yes it needs one no it is NOT compliant in standard form.
