Rb26 Sump Options

Ok cheers, my original intention was to get the stock sump with tomei baffles, overfill it a litre, and run the JUN pump....?

greddy sump extension comes with baffles and pickup...

plus jun oil pump

With out having personal experience it seems that the Greddy extension isnt the be all and end all. Im pulling out my motor to fix the oil control issued and are opting for the performance metal craft one, that sydneykid has recommended in many threads.

NISMO oil pump is what you want in my opinion (ive got one anyway) Heavy duty gear but same flow rate as standard so your not pumping oil unecessarily. "as used in super taiku series" acording to greenline Comes primed with oil and front main seal already installed. Got mine for about $1050 from greenline.jp

I wouldn't touch the track with the standard sump, even with baffles and overfilling i think its a bit too optimistic that there won't still be oil surge.

Can someone elaborate on N1 oil pumps and hard launches?

if i was going threw a rebuild this would be the sump i would be using

is that the same stud/bolt pattern as the RB20det and RB25det sumps?

its an extension custom built into whatever sump you want - that pic is rb26 but they could do the same for rb25 etc

Regarding the clearance of the Performance Metalcraft GTR sump. See attached pic of it on my 32 GTR. It sits almost dead level with the cross member. Bit of a dodgy phone pic but you get the general idea.
