Hi All,

Got my car up for sale, I would consider it a project car at this stage, its 99% complete, and needs a couple of little things to get it up to scratch.

Heres some details,

1990 S13 Silvia Q's

RB20DET conversion - Motor freshened up with new gaskets, bearings + seals.

5 speed manual (rebuilt).

Exedy brass button clutch + heavy duty pressure plate.

600x300x100 Intercooler

K&N pod filter

Drift Catch Can - Gates hoses.

Just been serviced with new oil, coolant, iridium spark plugs, gearbox + diff oil.

Just Jap R32 GTS-T Aluminium Radiator (brand new)

Thermo fan + thermo switch

Silicone radiator hoses

Replaces heater hoses

Gates timing belt

Chipped ECU (Blitz I think)

RB25DET turbo

Speedflow fittings + gates high pressure hose from turbo.

3" Trust front pipe

3.5" Trust cat back

LSD (tight)

Painted Subaru Electric Blue (Same as WRX)

Vertex body kit

Neons in grille

Lowered (unsure of springs)

KYB shocks

Replaced bushes throughout

17" 5 spoke wheels, powder coated white

Falken Ziex tires

Brakes have just been done; machine rotors, new Bendix pads.

Drift Steering wheel

I believe the seats are from an R32, not sure though.

Autometer A/F gauge

Speco Water temp gauge

Speco volts gauge

No boost gauge at the moment, will have one when its sold.

Tinted Windows

JVC head unit (not fitted) Needs speaker brackets.

6.5" Jaycar splits in front

Pioneer 6x9" 450w speakers in rear

Pioneer 12" 1200w sub, needs a box + an amp, all amp cables have been run into the boot.

Bad points:

Small paint chips on front bar.

Small dent in LHS front guard.

Requires intercooler piping (will possibly have cooler piping when sold)

Rear tires are nearly illegal.

I think thats everything, I have described the car as accurately as possible, and as above; I will get pics up as soon as possible. In the meantime anyone is more than welcome to come view the car, its located in Warrnambool, Victoria. Call 0447839790and ask for Ryan to arrange an inspection (you may need to ring a couple of times to get through, phone is playing up)

I am more interested in a swap than cash, looking for an R32 GTST or GTS4 with mild mods (exhaust, cooler, filter), must be manual. But cash offers will be considered.

Thanks for looking.

    • Hey, like MBS206 mentioned; I dropped off my short block and rotating assembly Monday. With a quick verification, he believes he can clear it up with just a hone and new rings but he will confirm once the rotating assembly is out. If I were you, I would either go stroker or just replace the block if it does need to be bored over to next size. Block is cheaper then forged pistons.
    • live in the UK, and London has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) that requires individuals to pay £13 if their car doesn’t meet the required emissions standards.   The standard specifies that NOx emissions must be less than 0.08 g/km (i.e., the vehicle must meet Euro 4 standards or better, which generally results in NOx levels of around 0.08 grams per kilometer).   I reached out to Nissan UK, and they advised me to contact Nissan Japan directly. Does anyone have contact details for Nissan Japan or any certifications of conformity that show the emission details or NOx levels for the RB25DET engine?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    • these guys recommended to me and supplied custom 4 inch mufflers, couldn't be happier. They will spec a muffler to your preferred level of sound and know RB's well.  https://spmufflers.com.au/
    • Yeah this used to happen to me every year and a quick call would at least raise the agreed value back up / reduce the premium, but usually both.    That said for the first time on the renewal this year our agreed values went up or stayed the same over the fleet and the premium came down so that was a nice surprise.
    • I don't even go that hard core. I just say "how do you expect me to stay, when you increase my premium, and reduce the value of the car?"   Then play a game of shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's a computer that did the adjustment, and the people will happily change it around for you.
