just wanting some info on what type of diff is in the rear of an r32 gtr. i have one and pulled out the centre and its definately not the shitty viscous type diff that the gtst's got. is it helical or clutch pack... how does it operate? its going in my datto as a hopefully unbreakable track diff, i guess we'll see

sweet, i could see a few cone shaped gears and a few clutch looking plates through the holes in the centre. I'm hoping that its in good nick and that since its going in a nice light car then it will not need a bigger shim. can always take it out if not. i did also notice the big 31 spline flanged axles that go into the diff, they must be unbreakable!

You're on the money there, you'll NEVER break that in a Datto!
