Vic RWC prices?

I'm in Vic. Today mum got a RW and the ladie at the desk said there would be no extra charge for the second inspection. When they found out they weren't getting the work to fix it they said there would be a $25 second inspection fee.

Has anybody got a RWC latlely and are we being ripped off since they charged her $77 for the first inspection.

I thought it was $25 per inspection. Or was it $50?

Not too sure. Mine came with rwc, and it's been too long for me to remember the last one i done.

About 12 months ago I was charged $65 I believe for a RWC and i think that is the basic rate..and it had gone up recently then.

To inspect it again - I guess it does take some of their time, especially if they haven't done the work themselves and don't know what has been done.. so extra $25 if you ask me isn't that unreasonable.
