Wrapping Dash In Carbon Fibre

Hi guys

I saw a massive carbon fibre sticker yesterday at autobarn and was wondering if i should attempting to wrap my S2 R33 GTST dash in it.

Would i need to sand the dash back cause the series 2 dash isnt completely smooth?

Has anyone got any experience with this?

dont waste your time. after time the adhesive will start to let go and the sticker will buble up. if ur gonna do it, do it properly. will cost $$ but better finish and life.

do you know where i could have it done properly?

Is there plastic on the market that looks like carbon fibre or do i need to actually have the dash made from carbon fibre ?

PSI parts is ment to be releasing a full carbon fibre dash for the skylines some time in January. Wait for that.

the other option you have is to get some1 to lay a single ply of carbon fibre over the dash in a wet lay up style and let it cure onto the dash. will give u a better and realistic finish as people (like myself) can pick apart a fake finish to the real deal but it would be much harder to pick a full carbon dash to a single layer carbon dash coz at face value without removing it, it would look exactly the same.

I'd be up for the f*kk carbon fibre dash when its released! I have a series 1 and trying to find a new dash in good condition is a nightmare!

I've seen a dash + the associated centre console+door trim parts which had been done professionally, similar to modicoat, and it looked awesome. Easy to keep clean, not too glarey, but i imagine it'd be quite expensive to get done!
