Ahhh gotcha... but would putting a VQ35 in it fix the proble for compliancing? Being that it passes the emissions requirements?

Odd that they requirements would change so much that it couldnt be fixed by a retune and a different catalytic converter.

Time for a full on gas conversion? Burns clean. Can make nice power on gas. The valve seats in a 25DET would surely take it?

I think (and correct me if I'm wrong, Matt and 32vspecII) that the car would have to be standard (or near enough to standard) when it is at the compliance stage, meaning that the car's specifications would have to match the papers and build plates on the car itself, right?

It's all to do with build date.
