depending on how bad the gutter rash is, it may be posible for the rim place to put some touch up paint on them. I'm pretty sure the rims u got were done at alliance rim repair in osborne park. doubt they would charge much if they just touch it up with paint, but if they need to machine the lip and weld it up, then it may be expensive.

The last time I had one of the mentioned workshops above fix a rim, it actually looked worse than when I dropped it off. Paint runs, and cracks even :S Wouldn't be going back there thats for sure.

I kerbed one of my rear rims a couple weeks ago while parking, left like a 7cm scrape mark. Annoyed me at first, but oh well sh*t happens and life goes on.

IMO, I wouldn't repair your rim just yet (give it some time, just incase you do more damage to it) and from memory its ~$80+ per rim to repair.

Leo Gommer Engineering did a awesome job repairing some rims I bought. He doesn't fix up paint but if you half handy with a spray can it isn't all that hard to fix it up yourself.

He was very well priced as well considering the amount of work he did, very recommended >_<
