Does The R33 Airflow Meter Work On An R32?

My car just stalled last night while driving and when I start it, it idles really bad. The only symtoms I had before the stalling was when I stopped at the lights the idle wasn't stable and it would almost stall. This happened a few times before it actually stalled while driving.

I'm suspecting it's the airflow meter. I need a good meter to test but I don't have a spare R32 airflow meter. However I do have and R33 Series 2 airflow meter. Does anyone know if I can use this?

I ran an ecu diagnostics with the consult port and it is the airflow meter. I opened it up and tried re-solderiing it, but that still didn't fix it. I just rang Nissan spare parts and they quoted me $1000 for and air flow meter. My draw just dropped. After doing some reading, it seems that the R33 series 1 is the same air flow meter. Is that right?

why not ask one of your mates or some one on here to borrow their stock 33 S1 AFM and bolt it up and if it works then it works

I dnt know if they have the same plug my be a different number of pins in the plugs?

the series 1 r33 afms are the same as the r32

series 2 wont work
