Compression Test

hey guys i had to get one of my intercooler pipes readjusted and while i was there i got

a compression test done. What do you guys think?

1st - 150psi

2nd - 150psi

3rd - 145psi

4th - 140psi

5th - 150psi

6th - 145psi

it's not about the amount of compression as such, but if there's more than ~12psi difference between cylinders then it's not a good thing.

About average for a good condition engine of it's age.

Wait until you hit 70PSi and get the nice rough idle, then you know what low comp is...

I don't know how nissan buildt my engine,

but compression on mine was 150, 152, 149, 150, 150, 152, with less the 3% leakdown on all Cylinders, didn't belive it, had it done at a different shop, and got even better results.

WogsRus, there's nothing "wrong" with your engine.

Although, compression should be at 165PSi from all research and testing I've done.

So you've just got an even wearing engine.
