Thats cos u guys probably arnt using the steering wheel?? Reason why the is so much snap/whip lash is cos with the controller u cant exactly just turn a certain about and be smooth... its either full lock or nothing...

so in real life if u were to do the same thing (somehow) that same would obviously happen.

Once i get my PS3 and GT5 with G25 wheel tomoro and have a play with a decent car im gonna write a massive review on what i think of the car physics...

It isn't full lock or nothing as you odviously have adjustments in the stick on the controller. Certainly not as precise as a wheel though. But still. If your smooth you can usually save it.

Still. Im thinking the game could be great. But i just cant enjoy the fact that to go faster you need a new vehicle. The only thing that really keeps me interested in racing games these days is tweaking settings trying to lap faster. Bring on an accurately detailed tuning section.

p.s. The new Gtr feels odd. it feels slow in the game, it feels like it needs the rev limiter set about 1000rpm higher, and it handles wierd. Yet it still seems to set decent lap times.

Yep, I'm using a G25 properly setup :/

I dunno, it's easy to control small sideways movements.. but I find it hard to control big slides out of corners.

If you're a GT fan, you'll love it... but I've played every simulation game over the past five years, lets just say i'm a little more "critical" hehe :/

None of the GTR's actually 'feel' fast, not in the way the F430 feels 'fast' when your on it...

hahah u driven the mines r34?? it feels fast here with the incabin view doin near on 300km/h and on some circuits.. over lol

the R35 doesnt feel fast.. but then again, the reviews all point there anyway.. it doesnt feel fast, but it most certainly is. plus the f430 is a much lower car.. 80km/h in a go kart feels incredibly fast.. where as 120km/h on a vline bus feels really slow.. the gtr sits much higher than the ferrari so it will always feel slower.

I am upto S-Class now, Just wondering if anybody has finished S-Class yet as I am interested in knowing what car is given to you once you finish it. S-Class is a pain but hopefully I will have sorted by the end of the weekend.

you need to complete all the classes 1st.

how did u get 2 million credits lol

yeah i figured that must be the problem, lucky i only have 2 in s class to go. Im just praying u dont need gold on everything to unlock the f2007

500 laps of the first one in a class got me the 2m, thats 100 races ;)

u know what... im yet to see a game that actually captures the hondas vtec cross over..

i havent come across a single sim/racing game that has the vtec cross over point at all...

it'd be nice if they maybe did this time.. just maybe :P

ok only the last one in s class to go

also anyone know how to set the date and time, i keep getting errors messages when i load the game. Im sure its somewhere obvious but i just cant find it lol what a noob

Go to the time and date settings in your PS3s menu... select "sync time off internet".

It'll be fixed after this :D

I just can't beleive those who bought GT5P, were happy to give Sony a nice little profit for a bloody demo version of a game, nearly asking for retail price of a FULL game, only to pay the full price anyway when the final version does finally come out.... lols! Nice work fellas, keep it up yeah! ROFL.

Only 2 events to go now are the 2 700 performance points races. I have tryed the mines 34, the R35 and a range of Ferraris and i just cant find anything with enough oomph to get me at the front. grrr. And hmm. the more i play the game the more i find nothing is competing with the R35 and the Mines. Just got enough coin for the F40 and i must say, im slightly disapointed with the price tag to performance ratio. The R35 still kicks it (not that GTR domination is a bad thing). And regarding the Integra type R, for something that isnt that quick i find it one of my fav cars i think the sound of it helps though.

Just need to find a way to win those damn 700 point races.

    • There's a thread over on PF.com where this has already been beaten to death. I make this point only because the report that you're referring to is already out of date. They have walked back some of the silliness, including the need to apply for (and risk losing the application fee, if not granted) a permit to work on your own car on your own land. But there is still a lot of silliness left remaining. Victoria is a f**king shithole. Has been since way before we started calling it Brackistan. f**king nimby woke Stalinist nightmare of a place.
    • I’ll go last point, For me it’s, can I do better relying on the expertise of u experts in the field but my point was, is there a way and a will to sticky important tried/true/tested facts that come out of a question relating to each area of improvement. I mean like not losing valuable info when u end up relying on google without success. Some times. I just see so much knowledge being passed but unless u are a guru or lucky, the diamonds end up hidden in our forum sorry guys I’ll leave it at that respect
    • Oh, and despite all the links, there's nothing sponsored here. Paid in full by me.
    • What the actual f**k is this about?  https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-news/this-australian-city-wants-to-charge-people-to-work-on-their-cars A $400+ permit, every 3 months, to work on your own car?  Tell him he's dreaming.
    • I did a bit of googling, the color MCM used was Galaxy Grey from House of Kolor. This is actually a colour I picked out about ~10+ years ago (or more). This one is a stock BMW colour, I guess over the years I figured it was smart to get an OEM colour that was pretty common for all of those sensible reasons one can think of..
