Creeking Slave Cylinder!

Ok my problem is that everytime i put my foot on the clutch to take of or change gears, there is a creek/squeek from beneath my car. Now i know it is my slave cylinder as i have had it up on jacks, lubed it up with oil inside the boot (not too much as i dont want to get any oil inside the gearbox/bellhousing) and even minutely sprayed a bit of bearing lube in there to try and get it up as high as i can to lube the yoke arm. But nothing seems to be working. The noise will go away for a few days, but then will come back generally right at the very end of teh pedal throw to begin with.

Has anyone else experienced this, if so, how have you gone about or think i should do about lubing this problem. How do nissan perform tasks like this.

My last resort will be to pull the slave cylinder off and physically lube all the parts up myself with grease. But i prefer not to as this will be a large pain in the arse.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure its the slave?

Could be the master at the bottom of the pedal? I remember mine used to creek in a previous car and over time it started losing pressure so it would be hard to get into gears at high RPM.

Changed the master cylinder and it was fine after that, or re-sleeved it I think it was.

Nah definately the slave...ive been under the car and had someone depress the pedal and its definately the yoke on the slave making the noise. Cheers for the input tho, any other ideas anyone?

ive had similar but they way i got it fix was went to a brake and sleeve place they clean the sleeve and the master cyclender cost me 200 buck from memory and it has been okay since try that ?

hmm i reckon ill just take her apart and grease it to all buggery. Failing that i will just put up with it i guess.

yeah i've had a similar thing with mine for ages, at first i noticed it would do it after it'd been raining, then it sort of started happeneing all the time.. not sure if it was the master or the slave.

about a month ago the clutch box frame thing snapped one of it's spot welds so i had to take it all out and get it re welded, when i put it back in i noticed my clutch has been losing pressure, although i've got a feeling this is down to air getting into the lines, which i've been too lazy to bleed out

mmm can be many things depending on the severity or type of noise. Im 100% adament tho mine is the yoke on the slave. Im going to take it off and take her apart and grease it all up to the best of my ability.

i get creeking noise from the clutch pedal itself (foot)and sometimes in the clutch folk..always comes back after spradying some wd40 on the pedal

Mine creaks too. I just put up with it. My skyline has many small problems at the moment.

well i was under the car (AGAIN) today and figured whilst i was doing the control arm bushes (grease gunning), that id put a little bit in the boot for the slave...did help a bit but rite at the end of the throw of the slave it has the smallest creek. Guess this is as good as it will get unless i pull her apart.
