SOLD!!

Item: Genuine R33 GTR wheels w/ tires

PCD: 5x114.3

17x9 +30 all round

These wheels will be machined and powdercoated, they will be in MINT condition.

Location: SA, can post anywhere

Item Condition: Mint condition, as mentioned these will be machined and powdercoated to new condition.

Reason for Selling: need $$$ for my car

Price and Payment Conditions: Looking for $1300, which i think is pretty fair considering they are forged lightweight rims, good size and offset.

Extra Info: These wheels as mentioned are forged, this means that they are very strong and very lightweight, they weigh around 9kg which is less than wheels like BBS LM's which are well over $4000 for a set new. these are an awesome track wheel, as well as awesome looking wheels and good with cops as well as they are technically a factory nissan wheel ;)

Pictures:

these are what the wheels look like on a silvia:

i dont have any of the actual wheels, but as i said, they are mint condition, they are currently being powdercoated white like these:

im located in SA near mitcham, but can post anywhere in Aus for between $100-$200

No one will buy second hand rims sight unseen, you may as well put pics up.

Sounds like you are just about to put tyres on them? why not wait and sell them without tyres so people can put the tyres that they want on? ie. If I wanted them I would want the same sized tyres front and rear and probably race spec tyres.

if someone is generally interested they will request photos but until them im quite frankly too lazy :domokun: the tyres on them are high performance tyres, if need be i can provide 225/45's all round, although the other pair will be some near new condition Pirelli PZeros which are a $400ea tire new.

i would prefer to sell them with tyres and im sure the buyer would be fine with having top of the line performance tyres come with the wheels.

tbh im not really fussed what u would do, people prefer different things, just as im sure u like things one way im sure there will be plenty of people out there that would like to have their wheels already wrapped in good rubber when it gets to their door that they have paid only a fraction of what they are worth new.

thread unlocked, and wheels for sale again. these arnt the same wheels, but another set of R33 GTR wheels. long story short but im receiving these wheels to replace some wheels that were lost by a company, i have been offered a free powdercoat on them, and im thinking white, if someone is keen on these before wednesday u can pick the colour. i would just put these on my car as i love R33 GTR wheels, but i have a fractured foot which means i cant drive my car, so these would just be sitting around collecting dust until i can drive my car again. hence im chucking them up for sale.

im asking the same $$ even though they are in mint condition, will be powdercoated etc as im after a quick sale so i can buy and auto daily (so i can drive around, heavy duty button clutch + fractured foot = fail )

    • Nah no bearings, just slip fit.  Would be a reasonably challenging but not impossible job to modify it to run bearings but I'm hoping that's not necessary as I may have well built one myself if I end up spending hours modifying it!
    • Brumbys with good shells are bloody expensive, I've looked at 2 "cheaper" cars, and walked away from both,  plus after some research spare parts are fairly sparce I'm starting to think that I missed the boat on finding a clean one that is straight (ish) and without alot rust I'm starting to think about a old Hilux as panels and other parts are much more available as they sold tens of thousands of them I use to be indecisive but now I'm not sure
    • A Brumby would probably fit a big metal toolbox in the back... this is how it begins
    • Picked up a new OEM boot seal for the MX5 today as the old one got ripped a bit by me being a idiot by seeing if I could fit a large metal tool box in it, it didn't fit, and ripped the seal with the corner of the tool box I am still waiting on time to get the cams and new balancer installed, as well as the repairs to the boot Time will not be an issue soon though
