flash-tune of a factory ECU only makes sense if you never plan to mod your car again

I have to disagree with that slightly...the only trouble with remapping an ecu is that there are very few tuners around who can do it...that is all...

Even with a remap...after mods are added you can always visit the same tuner to get the ecu remapped the suit the new mods...its basically the same as retuning with any aftermarket ecu...just that the old chip is binned and a new one put in....

Running remap in my ca, and it shits all over the microtech and haltech(sorry to their lovers) but my ca has been transformed with the removal of the aftermarket computer and the re-install of Std computer. So as a rebroad minded person of this, you could say I'm a bit bias.

Also have re programmable, re mapped std ecu going into my fully built rb25 in my r33, tuned in real time of course.

And finally when I finish breaking the balls of my tuner...Im going re-map on the e15et...in my n12 daily...so If you read this SAM * hurry up* :)

So I guess I am a huge fan of the remap.
