My RB20DET is pretty much stock, with stock turbos and only has a 3 inch piping exhaust with a pod air filter.Recently it starts to give out some rattling sound. Theres a soft and slight rattling sound when it idles and when it moves through the first gear the sound becomes louder and louder as i go faster. The sound is something like klak klak klak klak. Is it possible that the sound comes from the turbo? My boost meter reading is still normal though. Any idea where i should look into? Thanks

Noticed something today. Whenever i step on the clutch the sound goes away. It only comes when i let go of the clutch. Will a faulty clutch bearing produce this rattling sound?

well haha had i known that before haha yeah it could quite easily be the clutch release bearing or the clutch spigot bearing

Hmm i guessed so. Would it be dangerous if i leave it just like that?

r32woohoo: Im not sure as the previous owner just told me it was some performance clutch. Might be a single. How does it affect?

Thank you everyone for the feedback.
