Has anyone considered the whole petrol difference between Japan and Australia when it comes to the fast times of the GTR?

Remember how in Japan the normal R33 GTS-T was doing around 6.2 sec to 100 km/h with 101 PULP and how in Australia with the 98 PULP it does it in 6.9 secs?

So will this mean that the GTR down under will not do 3.6 secs at all but more like over 4 seconds?

wow they use 101ron fuel in japan i didnt no that

Its definetly an interesting question, but the new GT-R is a global car, where as the old skylines where (predominatly) japan only.

The new GT-R will need to meet fuel specs for cars all around the world, unless they are going to tune the car for the different markets.

I think they'll just tune it on 98RON to produce the same performance. Not sure if this means more power or what, but it no doubt can be done.

I doubt they will risk the image by having detuned versions around the world, that don't put out the performance specified, as you can bet your a$$ that as soon as one lands in every country that someone will try and prove the figures right or wrong.
