Clarks Rubber sells insulated foam (10mm or 15mm thick).

it will cost you under $10 for a 1 meter sheet.

you can cut it with scissors.

use some form of hi temp adhesive to glue it to the INSIDE of the box.

then do a layer on the outside aswell.

Shiny side up.

Has this made much difference when driving the car? I brought some fibreglass last year, and still have not gotten around to making mine. I'm on holidays as of tommorow so I'm definately doing mine in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to try and make a fibreglass lid though.

heres the pic of my car with the eyelids

she feels a little better down low, stop start in traffic, be ever better with the insulation and intercooler piping insulated.

I use the 15mm thick stuff all around the inside of my Maxx CAI box
