R32 Gtr Won't Start After Washing The Engine Bay

I washed my R32 GTR's engine bay for the first time on the weekend. Gave it a heavy soaking whilst the engine was running. High pressure degreeser and soap all over for a good 5 mins.

Turned the car off for 5 mins to get some more change. When I can back the car did not start. All the accessories work and I can hear the fuel pump kick in...BUT NO CRANK NOISE.

The only way I could get out of there is with a push start!!

Car has been drying for 5 days and still no go....CAN ANYONE HELP? WHERE DO I START OR WHAT DO I CHECK.

check you starter motor wires havent been damaged/blasted off by the high pressure washer. also check all fuses, engine bay fuse box and cabin box.

Oh boy.... not another one - always bring it to a proper place to wash your car if you don't know how to as there are electrical circuitry in there buddy... electricity and water don't really gel.

Never mind, I think check your wires... get a good cloth and try to hand-dry all the connections, check your fuse box, starter motor, AFM etc... get in there and dry up everything... if it still doesn't start - might be short-circuit... bring it to a mechanic.... bad luck mate...

there is a wire that goes to the starter solenoid directly under the big main wire that goes to the starter motor, i'm tipping that it's come off
