Opening Scenes To Great Movies

Was just thinking there are some really good opening scenens with some great movies as well (usually).

These can be funny scenes, really scary ones or even a good mood setter. The opening scene is pretty important.

I'd be interested to know what other people think are good movies with opening scenes (or even the credits)

The first one I can think of is Cannonball Run with the lambo contach and the cop chase (trans-am cop car).

The movie goes from the 20th century fox logo to the sound of the contach on full song - its great.

Who else knows of some good opening scenes for movies

Opening scenes - Mad Max. So many great scenes and lines, not to mention a fairly good chase scene, heh.

Running on Empty. Fox Vs Monaro guy, old school drag racing late 70s style.
