kind of comes down to, do YOU think it is worth 18? if you like it and want it, pay it, if you dont think it is worth 18, then offer him less and be prepared to walk away with nothing.

hope its got receipts for everything

is 18k the price his selling it for or did you get it down to 18k ?

if 18k is the price his selling it for try to bargain a few grand off ^_^ 15k would be good =]

but it sound like this guy has spend a sh*t load of money on this car..

as said eariler check the condition paint/clutch brakes etc

because for 18k i want to pay for a pretty decent car.

Goodluck mate

hey mate,

I've got an rb25 in my r32 with almost the same mods as the person selling it....and take it from me...if he did all the work himself or since he's had the car , then ALOT of money has gone into the car. If the workmanship and the exterior of the car is in good nick - i'd say 18gs is a very fair price. The conversion alone is about 4g min, then add another 3g+ at least for the turbo setup. The motor and box have both been rebuilt, not to mention suspension and brakes. Thats a damn bargain price!!!

I know thats near impossible to get back any amount spent on any car - but 18gs for a car with that much mods is very decent providing the work is good and the car itself is in good nick.

F*kn good buy if u ask me -

I am currently having the conversion done, the mechanic told me to allow $5k all up, but he's also rebuilding the RB25 with forged pistons etc. I already have all the bolt on mods, which 85% of them are being swapped over, the rest ae going to be modified to fit I believe.

depending on who built the motor, what was done etc.

18k might be a reasonable price, it might not be.

The bottom end alone is worth 6-7k motor in/out.

If the body id clean, and it was a good build 18k would be reasonable to me.

It would be a very fast streeter... although the 2540 is a bit of rubbish turbo and i'd ensure i had 2k spare to change it to something a bit more useful

I dont mean to be the bearer of bad news

But with a 2540, its not making 400rwhp.

Not even in the ballpark mate. A 2540 simply isnt capable of that.

You'll be lucky if its making 300-320rwhp at best.
