Brandon
I have a question regarding imports without logbooks. Are they common? The dash has been changed but the actually mileage has been recorded down on the auction sheet. Anyone thinks this will be a problem? I have arranged the car to be checked by a third party company. Its a dealer's car btw. Hear some good stuff regarding this dealer from Mark Hocking too. I just want to know is it normal to get a GTR without logbooks or not. Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/198096-logbooks/ Share on other sites
nissanmanS12
These days it seems like most dealers will try and find imports that have logbooks and import those as they have a higher resale here in aus, as alot of people prefer to buy a car with some retained history. Ive personally bought imports, cars with out logbooks before but they wer older cars. My S14 Aussie Spec has logbooks.. My R34 GTT dusnt have the japanese log books but has the import papers etc with kms etc. Can the R34 digital meters be tampred with easily? Would they even bother doing it..?? On GTR or something i can see why they would but.. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/198096-logbooks/#findComment-3538457 Share on other sites
