Knew it was only a matter of time...

nice big yellow sticker on josies front window :)

no fines or demerit points or anything just a week to get the exhaust "fixed"

its pretty much a str8 pipe to the cat which is probably why its so loud... going to have to try and organise something for the damn thing to quiet it down.

sorry to hear about the sticker on josies window. at least its not as bad as what others have copped.

man why dont you stfu...all you do is flame people and harass the board with your malcontent and idiocy

and while your down there, why dont you shave the cops balls while your at it

cut a steel plate to match the shape of the cat to pipe flange, then drill some holes in it. that will bring the noise down heaps, and if its thin enough they wont be able to see it. just dont give it too much gas.

you could do this and make it look like a gaskett however im pretty sure you would get another letter/ sticker soon anyhow :)

as it isnt really the easiest to conceal a beasty exhaust note! ;)

Anyhow. Nark... when you say straight pipe to the cat?

what you mean?

or is it to the muffler?

That car sounds good as it is i reckon :D

    • Hey everyone, i have quite a few of these now and looking to sell my collection.    There’s many different brands and they all say something similar when powered up. if you would like an example of what they do and how they work i suggest searching JDM ETC READER into google or youtube.    I know some people dont like them but others want that final “JDM” piece for their project.  Below are a few examples of what i have.  feel free to contact me if you want more photos or have any questions. i also have a few that dont make noise but just light up to give the aesthetic.   $80 ea or will do a good discount if multiple are purchased. Located in South Australia and happy to post interstate if required! Thanks for your time!
    • I hope so.  It seems pretty nice. OEM feel the lot.
    • I wouldn't be surprised if this helps. And I wouldn't be surprised if it keeps changing for a bit after the new slave&hose go on, because I find that my clutch always does this sort of shenanigans after any serious dismantlery. And then it settles down after a few corrective tweaks such as you've already done.
    • Ist post I joined after seeing this thread  I have just installed on a r33gtst at first I liked it but I am finding the peddle free play changes …. To a point I have had a zero free play condition and the thrust bearing stayed engaged. I had to back off the adjustment on peddle.   I am about to change slave and fit a braided line to see if I can get a better result
