Power Fc Boost Controller Kit Question...

hi guys, can you please help me with a question...

i just installed a apexi boost control kit for my power fc. i drive an r33 gtst by the way...

when i hit positive manifold pressure i can hear a ticking noise from either the engine bay or the ecu...its faint but quite easy to hear.

is this the boost control solenoid starting open? have you got the same noise?

i have just fitted a hks gtrs turbo kit as well, but only noticed this noise after installing the boost control kit...

yes its the solenoid.. some of them are much louder then others. I cannot hear the one on my car but thats probly cos of the big gt3540 sitting right next to it

my car is getting tuned today at bathis and borge auto in botany. will let you know how it goes...

i cant take mine to the track untill i get a oil cooler and do something about the suspension and brakes!! lol so it will be a while since i come down... might go down to wsid in the next couple of month, nearly ready.. got everything i need just need to install it all and re-tune it.

post up a dyno sheet when you can.. would be interesting

Just in case you had the second stage boost always mod , disable it .
