Strut Brace To Fit R32 With Rb25 Conversion

Hey guys

anybody here have a R32 with a Rb25 Conversion and found a Strut Brace that fits?

im in the market for one but am worriend of buying one that wont fit becasue of the conversion

not sure how much difference is in the clearance with the rb25 compared to the RB20

was thinking of trying a just jap one anyone have one of them?

I already had a brace before I did my conversion. It's not a problem - still fits.

I bought a cusco one full blue style

she no fit

25 on rb20 mounts

I reckon there's something dodgy going on if you have height issues with a 25.. I had height issues but that's because the 30 block is taller.. I had to remove my strut brace but put swaybars on around the same time which made up for it.

the inlet manifold sits about 10mm higher on a 25. It's not exactly a common problem to have clearance issues, but it isn't uncommon either.

I use a genuine Nismo R32 strut brace, and it fits with about 2mm of clearance.

I dont know how you would go finding one of those though...

Oh man, i hope my tomei strut brace fits. Its the one that goes from tower to tower and firewall.

I always thought they sat exactly the same. Interesting about the plenum part, as it is definately taller.

Mine didn't fit, so I used a BFH to message it a little bit. Fits good now :-D

if it hits, just chuck some washers on one side to make it slightly higher.

thats what people do with sr20 strut braces on a ca18det car.
