Flat Spot In Power At 4000-5000

Hey all,

I have a ceffy with a rb20det engine that has a massive flat spot in power at 4000 to 5000 I am running 10 psi but its not got boost problems it miss fires a little too I tried to use consult but I can't figure out how to use it. Can anybody help? I can find all the consult plugs and stuff just can't figure out how to use it.

Have you tried re gapping your plugs? Say from 1.1 to 0.8?

What gap would be ideal? I have the plugs out at the moment but not sure what would be a good gap. its pretty big at the moment.

It's best to have the spark as big as possible, so just make them gradually smaller until the flat spot goes away.
