Race Seat Into R33

Hey all

I have a Velo seat i want to put inot my R33 and was wondering if other have done so and if there are any legal issues.

Have just read

straight from the nsw RTA web site and it said (as i think) that if the seat complies to some ADR requirements it wont need an engineers cert?

any advice will be good.

The seat may meet ADRs but the mounts/rails are not std so strictly speaking you will need an engineers certificate.

So off to engineers who may end up telling you that being VELO and fixed back means you can no longer carry passengers in the bask seat. Which means removing back seat, seat belts and redoign your rego as a two seater? This if you want to do it legally

If thats the way it goes its not an option as the family wont dig that....

need the back seats for kids...

do your reckon its woth calling around??

If you have to redo the rego does that involve going over the pits or is it done on paper?
