RB25DET tranny on RB26DETT

I did some searching and I couldn't find any examples or proof that an RB25 transmission will work with the RB26.

Yes, I live in the US. I just need to know for sure or not, please let me know guys. I can't think of a reason it wouldn't work considering it is still from an RB series engine.

You also need to change the sump but you probably already knew that anyway.

Yes it works fine. The sump as such doesn't need to be changed, i have seen them welded up although that is heavier than getting an RB25 sump to put on there.
