Central Locking Not Working Properly

well my alarm is working fine, but the central locking isnt, its not locking the passenger door when its pressed. it tries to lock it but it cant, its as if it doesnt have enough power or it isnt griping to the teeth or something.

could it just be like some broken teeth on something not allowing it to grip on properly to the lock, or is one of the central locking thingys hammerd?
