long sleeves is basically just something to cover you to your wrists (and also long pants to the ankles) that isnt flammable material. Ive got some cheap arsed light weight skivvy thingo that i got from target for 6 bucks that i wear

cheers for the long sleeve update, i wasnt sure if it needed to be fire resistant or not :(

stockies suck for feel tho.

best to take your 265's off the rims, put them aside somewhere so you dont wear them out, or better yet take them with you to the track so at the end of the day you can refit them back to the rims and drive home again.

basically get some 18's on the cheap 2nd hand from nisskid or someone else who sells tyres. i can almost gaurentee that on your first track day you wont go through much more rubber then this, when you start getting better and linking all the corners then you'll need more tyres.

well if the weather keeps up how it is predicted so far i doubt ill end up coming out to this one. Not gonna get my oil cooler done in time and would not be an enjoyable day out there in 40ish degree heat. Wait and see wat happens. Tandems might have to wait unfortunately simon

$200 and i can get u a full set of 18's, ling longs around the 215/40-235/40 mark (cheap chinese stuff), tonnes of tread left on them, would be good for drift. let me know. i can also throw in a pair of potenzas, decent amount of tread on them, got a gash in the side of the tread, but pretty sure they dont leak.

sky095 - if your still looking for skid rims i have a set of BA Falcon alloys which are same stud pattern, a mate runs them on his 180 with 5 stud and offset seems to be decent still. People have sold for $700, ill let them go to you for $500. 2 with useable tyres, 2 not so useable. They are 16's, i probly have a couple of tyres around i could chuck in too.

heres a tip guys, when you spin out or off the track, make sure you look for oncoming cars already drifting before pulling back out.

Ive had too many close calls at prac days with beginners not looking where they are going and im already entered and sliding... it isnt easy stopping a car at 140 kph when its already sideways

:)
